Game Description

Edge of Sanity is a psychological survival horror game set in the harsh wilderness of Alaska, with 2D hand-drawn art and an eerie atmosphere inspired by the Cthulhu Mythos.

You were part of a team sent to resupply scientists at an Alaskan lab, but when you arrive, the place is abandoned, and terrifying creatures roam the area.

During the chaos, your group splits up, but you manage to survive and set up a camp. Now, it’s up to you to figure out what happened.

You’ll explore dangerous caves, forgotten mines, and hidden labs to gather resources for yourself and the other survivors. Along the way, you’ll uncover the dark secrets of PRISM, the organization behind the strange experiments, and piece together the real story.

The more horrifying things you encounter, the more your mind starts to unravel, affecting your decisions, abilities, and actions. The madness opens up new dialogue choices and lets you craft different items.

In battle, learn your enemies’ weaknesses, use your surroundings, and craft useful items. If all else fails, you can fight with an axe—but it could cost you your life.

As you dive deeper into the mystery, you’ll face difficult choices, encounter strange cults, and battle horrific monsters. Set during the Cold War, this story is full of unsettling twists where good and evil are hard to tell apart.
