Game Description

Abnormal1999: Sector 49 is a mystery puzzle game where you play as Sam, a man searching for his missing daughter in a wasteland world. The game takes place in Sector 49, a town in Nevada (once called Sayer Kograde) that was built during World War II for secret research.

Now abandoned, Sector 49 is a large map where you’ll explore different locations, solve puzzles, and collect 10 consciousnesses to open a portal. The story is set in 1984 within a multiverse.

You can switch between first-person and third-person views, and while the game offers some easier puzzles, there is limited guidance since it’s developed by a solo creator.

How to play Abnormal1999: Sector 49 on Windows 7?

Run “KexSetup_x64Rel.exe” from “_Windows 7 Fix” folder and install that extension
Open “Ab05\Binaries\Win64\Ab05-Win64-Shipping.exe” file properties in Explorer, then “VxKex” tab
Check “Enable VxKex for this program” and “Report a different version of Windows, Windows 10” checkboxes, Apply, OK
Run the game as usual
