Game Description

Wargame Red Dragon offers a thrilling single-player experience with its dynamic campaign system, along with an extensive multiplayer mode where up to 20 players can compete at once.

Dive back into the action with the South African Defence Force (SADF) in the new Nation Pack: South Africa for Wargame Red Dragon.

This expansion brings nearly 90 new units to the game, featuring a unique Cold War arsenal from the 1980s. The units are fully voiced in either Afrikaans or South African-accented English, adding an authentic touch to your gameplay.

The SADF is known for its fast-moving vehicles and tough infantry, designed to handle the challenges of the African battlefield during the Cold War.

Due to international embargoes, the SADF developed many of its own vehicles and weapons, which are now available for you to control in Wargame Red Dragon.

PC Version Features

  • Nearly 90 new units, including 20 brand-new vehicles and several new variants.
  • Vehicles include Casspir and Ratel APCs, Rooikat wheeled tanks, Eland armored cars, and the Olifant main battle tank. There are also numerous armed versions of SAMIL trucks and the G6 Renoster self-propelled artillery.
  • Air units include the Buccaneer, Vampire, Impala, and several variants of the Mirage and Cheetah jets, as well as the Atlas Carver prototype.
  • Helicopters include the Alouette III, Puma, Super Frelon, and the South African-designed Rooivalk attack helicopter.
  • Infantry units include Bokkop riflemen, Parabat paratroopers, SASF special forces, militia, engineers, and the renowned 32 Battalion (the Buffalos).
  • A variety of weapons are available, from R1 and R4 rifles to the Y2 grenade launcher and NTW-20 heavy sniper rifle.
