Story

Long ago, the Cassarians were an advanced civilization that used crystals from their planet, Cassara, to achieve rapid technological progress.

The most valuable crystal, Cassinite, led to a golden age of exploration and prosperity. But as Cassinite ran out, most people left the planet. Those who stayed faced a tough life, but they were determined to protect their home.

Now, Trace Hunters connect the scattered parts of society, exploring dangerous areas to find resources and old technology. As a Trace Hunter, you’ll battle through hordes of ancient Servitors, reawakened robots that once helped the Cassarians.

How to play Trace Hunters on Windows 7?

  • Run “KexSetup_x64Rel.exe” from “_Windows 7 Fix” folder and install that extension
  • Open “Trace Hunters\Windows\TraceHunters\Binaries\Win64\TraceHunters-Win64-Shipping.exe” file properties in Explorer, then “VxKex” tab
  • Check “Enable VxKex for this program” and “Report a different version of Windows, Windows 10” checkboxes, Apply, OK
  • Run the game as usual
